Kyivstar (the largest carrier), Vodafone Ukraine and lifecell all run 4G across central Kyiv, Maidan Nezalezhnosti, Podil and the left-bank suburbs. The Kyiv Metro has cell coverage on all three lines including the deep Soviet-era stations on the blue and red lines. Note: travel safety advisories apply.
Lviv's historic centre, the Market Square and the cafe district are densely covered. Coverage holds on the train and bus routes from the Polish border at Medyka and across western Ukraine. The Carpathian foothills are reasonably well served.
